I have always had a love for events and bringing together details to make sure others have the best day ever. When I went off to college, I thought I was going to go to med school and then I stepped one foot into a Chem lab and knew I had to find something else. I realized that I could take my passion for details and love for planning, tie it into my fierce loyalty to people and bring to life a dream I didn’t know was possible, until it was!
Oak and Ivy Events was dreamt of with people just like you in mind. From the smallest details that bring a joyous smile to your face to the hard work that wedding days bring, I crave every aspect of an event day. Wedding planning is stressful, as I am sure you know, but lucky for you, I thrive amongst the chaos that wedding planning brings. You don’t have to know how to set up a timeline for the day of, understand all the details on your vendor contracts or worry about all the behind the scene action that is happening because that is exactly what I am here to help take care of. The foundation behind Oak and Ivy, other than to help you curate and bring to life an event of your dreams, was to create a friendship that lasted way beyond your dream worthy day. My love for people is something that is almost as strong as my love for events, which is why I can’t wait to sit down over a cup of coffee and get to know you.
Outside of the crazy world of event planning, you can find me still planning (I think I have a slight obsession with it) but this time it is usually revolved around where I can take my next trip to! I recently set a goal to visit as many National Parks as I can and am itching to start checking places off the list. My favorite place I have ever been is without a doubt, Ireland! I can also be found running around with my sweet puppy, CJ and am always down for a game night with friends. I am a lover of books, Taylor Swift, matcha lattes and a good chicken sandwich.
